A NEW CHAPTER FOR FUNG-CTIONAL
What began as Muskoka Mudita – Mushroom Tea Co. has grown into something clearer, more focused and more aligned with the company we are building today.
With the support of Venturepark Labs and guidance from experienced industry leaders, we took an honest look at our branding, packaging, pricing and long-term direction.
That process pushed us to simplify, refine and evolve.
We became Fung-Ctional—a more modern expression of our Northern Ontario roots, our commitment to thoughtful sourcing and our vision for bringing chaga into everyday life.
Since then, we have:
- clarified our brand and messaging
- redesigned our packaging
- refined our product and production process
- developed a more sustainable path forward
- created a stronger foundation for future growth
The journey has not been simple, but every challenge has helped us become more intentional about what we create and how we build.
We are deeply grateful to Arlene Dickinson, Venturepark Labs and the mentors who encouraged us to think bigger while staying true to where we began.
