OUR STORY

Fung-Ctional is a family-built Northern Ontario beverage company creating a modern way to experience chaga.

Founded by Chelsea and Dan Porter, the company began as Muskoka Mudita and grew from traditionally steeped chaga teas into a sparkling chaga infusion made for everyday life.

BUILT BY FAMILY

Fung-Ctional has been shaped by our family from the beginning.

Our son Preston became one of our earliest and most honest taste testers, helping us refine recipes and think differently about how our ingredients could be used. His experience also helped inspire our exploration of upcycled topical products.

ROOTED IN NORTHERN ONTARIO

Our chaga is sourced from Northern Ontario, where we work with local foragers and approach the forest with care and respect.

That connection influences how we source, create and grow.

GROWING WITH INTENTION

Through our planting partnership, every item sold helps plant a seed, and every 100th supports the planting of a tree.

We are also continuing to explore responsible sourcing, upcycling and thoughtful ways to reduce waste as the company grows.

OUR NEXT CHAPTER

Fung-Ctional continues to evolve through testing, learning and refinement.

We are creating beverages that feel modern while remaining connected to nature, family and the place where our story began.
